Keefer Terminal Warehouse
Keefer Terminal
is located at the head of the Great Lakes/ St Lawrence Seaway
System, in the hub of the Port of Thunder Bay. Keefer is a
full-service transportation facility that handles most general
cargoes moving through the Port, such as lumber, steel, pulp
& paper and machinery.
The Terminal is
serviced by both Canadian National and Canadian Pacific Railways.
Loading and unloading of railcars can be done inside the transit
sheds. Truck bays are also abundant.
The facility has
controlled access and there is scheduled fire watch in all
cargo areas.
